Our Hosts – The Blackfeet

Siksikaitsitapi or “real people” is a collective name for the four bands that make up the Blackfoot or Blackfeet people. According to their oral history the Blackfeet people have occupied this area for thousands of years. The Blackfeet called what is now known as the Badger-Two Medicine area their “Cathedral.” And through it came provision from their Creator.
Being located within the Blackfeet Indian Reservation we at Mad Wolf Ranch are guests to a people that were before us. As guests turned hosts we aspire to use the ranch for charitable and educational purposes that would honor the Blackfeet.

Inspiration
You weren’t an accident. You weren’t mass produced. You aren’t an assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the Earth by the Master Craftsman.

A Focus Point
Ultimately we want to provide a platform via hosting and recreational opportunities that would help others focus on their mission statements. Our own interests include the preservation of Native culture and the history and heritage of the west; education of western ranch life; education in outdoor living; education in outdoor medicine; and education in sciences.
